New Summer Bible Study:
We would like to invite all women to participate in our church-wide bible study this summer which begins Wednesday, June 7th and ends July 19th. We will meet in the Pioneer Classroom at 6:15 p.m.

This summer’s study will be “Looking for Lovely” by Annie Downs. As Christians, we are not promised lives of ease. Often it takes just a small moment of beauty to regain hope and continue on when life is chaotic and unpredictable. Only when we learn to spot the lovely in the midst of hardship can we experience the transcendent peace of God that keeps us persevering when we want to give up.
In this 6 week study, Annie examines the ordinary people of the bible – fishermen, farmers, musicians, women – to discover how they sought beauty in their everyday lives to hold on to the hope of God’s perfect timing and how God makes everything beautiful in His time.

If you would like to participate in this study, please email Freda Shirah at dshirah630@charter.net

The cost of the participant’s book will be $15.00; the books will be available the first night of class.

Joy

New Women’s Sunday School Class

This class was launched on February 5th, 2017 and meets each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the Women’s Ministry Room 161.

The purpose of this class is to offer a warm, supportive environment where women can bond as sisters-in-Christ while growing in their knowledge and understanding of God’s word. The class will be doing life application studies starting with Bible Studies for Life series. The first study is Thrive: Living in Real Joy. Books are available in the classroom and also at Lifeway.

The class name is JOY. The secret to joy is in keeping our priorities arranged in this order: Jesus, Others, and Yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mary Morton at mmorton6425@gmail.com or Ann Thorn at dathorn@icloud.com.
