The United Methodist Men’s Fellowship organize, participate and sponsor a variety of projects in the church, the community and the Birmingham area.

We host fund-raisers throughout the year to enable us to fund numerous activities.

We have a “Helping Hands work group which will provide transportation, minor house repairs, yard work, etc. for church members as well as nonmembers. There is no charge for any of these services and we do not accept donations.

umm2MONTHLY BREAKFAST

We meet on the second Sunday of each month at 7:00 am in the FUMC Trussville Fellowship Hall.

Breakfast is prepared and served by various Sunday School classes. We have a brief business meeting then a presentation by a guest speaker. We usually adjourn by 8:00 am – plenty of time to attend the FUMC Trussville 8:30 am worship service.

Transport to and/or from the meeting is available upon request.

A $3.00 donation by members is suggested for breakfast. Annual dues are $5.00.

umm3The United Methodist Men’s Fellowship at First United Methodist Church Trussville is an organization founded to support our church in all activities. We are a diverse group of men meeting in regular fellowship and being of service to others.

In 2013, the United Methodist Men’s Fellowship of FUMC Trussville contributed over $7,300 to the following projects:

$500 to MegaMissions to help purchase a bus for Mexico mission projects.
$1,000 to the FUMCT organ fund.
$1,700 for the Camp Sumatanga Golf Tournament
$200 to The Save America Foundation, which insures the U.S. Constitution is upheld by our elected officials.
$700 for Camp Sumatanga special needs campers.
$100 monthly to “Three Hots and a Cot”, a local project for homeless veterans.
$200 to Sozo Kids International, which sponsors an orphanage in Uganda for 80 children.
$100 to Urban Ministries
$300 to Independence Place, which serves special needs adults.
$400 towards the purchase of a computer projector for FUMC Trussville.
$700 for materials and paint used to repair a house on Linden Street.
Nearly $1,000 for materials and supplies to build a lakeside pier and to build and install cabinets at Camp Sumatanga.
