Kairos Prison Ministry reaches out to the incarcerated

On Sunday, January 14, the children present for Sunday School participated in making cards and “flowers” for the Kairos Prison Ministry. Once a year, Trussville First United Methodist Church sends a group of lay people to share the Gospel to local men who are incarcerated. Director of Missions, Cindy Neilsen, helps coordinate the 3.5 day weekend event. Although the church’s partnership with Kairos is still fairly new, our congregation is heavily involved.
