“…He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” –Acts 17:26-27
What is Grace Vision?
To worship the eternal God at any point in history is a difficult thing. Despite how hi-tech or musically skilled we become, our worship will always be lacking, simply because we cannot contain eternity in history. However, God has determined the exact moments in history for us to live, and it is our responsibility to reach out for Him and find Him in the midst of that time.
And that’s why we offer Grace Vision.
Modern Instruments and Technology
Using some of the latest technologies in visual and audio media, this service may resemble a rock concert to some. Guitars, drums, video, and additional lighting are all part of the service. The goal, however, is not to offer a “good show” for the congregation, but to provide space to worship in ways that are familiar to people today.
Casual, Home-like Feel
It is our desire that Grace Vision will feel like home to you. A place where you can be yourself and grow in your faith. A place where you will find new friends and family. So, dress as you feel most comfortable worshiping God. Feel free to visit our refreshment table in the back of the service. And simply enjoy being in God’s house!
Liturgical and Theological Depth
Sometimes, modern worship services are accused of “dumbing down” the faith to cater to newer Christians. This is not the case in Grace Vision. We want newcomers and lifelong members alike to learn and know the traditions the Church has inherited. Following the richness of the United Methodist tradition, Grace Vision honors the liturgical seasons (Advent, Lent, etc.), the Apostle’s Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, baptism, and monthly communion. Additionally, sermons are theologically challenging and relevant to life in today’s world.
The music and atmosphere may be modern, but the faith is the same.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
