Team up for T.E.A.M. (Trussville Ecumenical Assistive Ministry)…Join us for a very special Barbershop Quartet Concert on Tues., 8/9 at 7 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 6704 Deerfoot Pkwy. Live performances by Harmonia and The Administration Barbershop Quartets. Admission is free. All donations to benefit Team.

Join us Thurs., 8/11 as BridgeBuilders feeds the homeless. We’ll prepare food at 3:30 and leave the Church at 5:15 to head downtown.

Kids, you can be the hands and feet of Jesus. We’ll be helping the BridgeBuilders ministry by Lunch Sack Packing on 8/11 at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us as we color and pack lunch sacks for BridgeBuilders.

“Women At The Well: Quenching Thirsts, Renewing Joy!” A day retreat designed for YOU. We will meet here at the Church on Sat., 8/13 from 9am to 3 pm. Sponsored by the TFUMC Women’s Ministries Team.

The TFUMC Methodist Men will meet next Sun., 8/14, at 7 am in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast will be prepared by the Character Builders and Outreach Bible Study classes. We are pleased to welcome back one of our own, Zac Riddle, as our guest speaker. Zac is the son of Hal and Joy Riddle. He has served in several positions with the North Alabama General Conference. Please come out and join us. All are welcome.

We’re having a LEARNING TOYS SHOWER to benefit children, infant – 4K at the Lovelady Center. Stephanie Smith from the Lovelady Center will speak to us about the children in Lovelady’s Kidzone and Freedom Rains School on Wed., 8/17 in the Pioneer classroom at 6 pm. (UMW Circle Six is hosting.) Please bring ANY NEW learn-and-play toys by Vtech, LeapFrog, Fisher Price, or Little Tykes, and any wooden or plastic alphabet letters and numbers, puzzles, or other learning games. Please no fabric toys, due to health concerns. Let’s help these precious children.

We have a collection bin so that the whole congregation can help donate school supplies for kids in need both here in Trussville, and at the Lovelady Center. The collection bin is located under John Wesley’s picture outside the Fellowship Hall. All supplies for grades K-12 are welcome. Supplies needed include: notebooks, pencils, pens, scissors, glue, crayons, markers, colored pencils, rulers, small pencil sharpeners, folders, binders, backpacks, Clorox wipes, baby wipes, kleenex. There will also be a community drive-by/drop-off collection in our front church parking lot on Sat., 8/20, 9 am-12 noon. Thank you.

Then Handbells at Trussville FUMC is just for you!!! The 2016-2017 Ringing Season begins with Ring Refresh 2016 on 8/27.
