All Women of the church,  Let’s better understand sex trafficking and reach out to survivors from the WellHouse!
Join us on Monday, May 1st at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall for our next UMW Prayer and Action event as we discuss the book, The White Umbrella by Mary Francis Bowley, and most importantly, as we show our love and support to survivors of human trafficking from the WellHouse. From the book: Every year over 100,000 children in the United States are forced to do someone’s sexual bidding. Most of them are between the ages of 9 and 19. This is not some faraway, foreign problem. This is in our own neighborhoods, our own towns and cities.

Discovery Class 6th Annual Yard Sale will be Saturday, May 6th. We are seeking donations of items for the sale.  Funds raised will be used for missions and updates around the church. Questions:  Ann Mayhew (205) 478-2357 or

Please don’t prop open the Church doors. This causes the electronic locks to malfunction and we have to pay to have them repaired. Thank you.

Ecuador Care Kit
This year Bro. Bill’s team will be working with teenagers in the community of Calderon. The team will be teaching the parables of Jesus in a Bible study, spending time in discussion and playing games. As part of the community outreach, we will be giving the teenagers care kits. If you would like to help you can put a kit together and bring it to Bro. Bill’s office. The kits cost approximately $30.00 each or you may make a contribution for the Ecuador Care Kits. If you make a contribution, please make the check payable to TFUMC and put “Ecuador Care Kit” on the memo line.
