A New Prayer Ministry…Pastor Bill introduced a book to the Monday Morning Prayer group, Is Your Pastor Preyed on or Prayed For by Terry Teykl. We have read the book and suggest all members get a copy and read it. Our group would like to ask for prayers for our pastors, Bill and Joe, from all our church members.

Have you ever wondered how you can be a servant for God? Being a prayer warrior is most important for our church. Please be in prayer about this need. It would be great if we could have two different people in the Prayer Room for each Sunday for the year. One at 8:30 and one at 11:00.

Beginning Sunday, January 1, 2017, we will have people assigned to begin praying in the Prayer Room, located on the left side of the Narthex. Prayer times will be during the 8:30 am and 11:00 am worship services, one person at 8:30 and one person at 11:00. We suggest you get to the prayer room just before the sermon begins and stay until the sermon is concluded. There is comfortable seating and a kneeler in the Prayer Room.

Sign-up sheets will be located in the Transept and in Grace Vision. Our pastors and church need your prayers.

YOU ARE INVITED…Dr. Bill Etheridge and his wife Becki invite you to join them for “Christmas Open House” at their home on Sunday, December 4th between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Since parking is limited, the Church bus will be available, so please park at the Church and ride our bus. We look forward to seeing you there.

We need Christmas toys for the children at Lovelady (all ages.)  Would you please donate ONE NEW, UNWRAPPED TOY?  The collection bin is outside the Fellowship Hall.  If you donate funds instead, please make your check payable to FUMC Trussville, write Bibles and Toys on the memo line and place in the offering plate.  United Methodist Women will deliver the toys when Circle One hosts a Kids’ Christmas party on Mon., 12/5. Carpool at 5 pm from the back church parking lot and everyone is welcome!
