Today is the last day to donate BIBLES for the Loveladies. Please place them in the bin outside the Fellowship Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Church Council Meeting has been changed from Mon., 10/31 to Mon., 11/14 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

UMW project-Christmas Bibles & Toys for Lovelady Kids. Please donate $15 or more to purchase new children’s Bibles and toys for the Lovelady kids. Make checks payable to FUMC Trussville and write Bibles and Toys on the memo line. You may also donate unwrapped, new toys now through 12/4 in the Church hallway.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS…remember to re-set your clocks Sat. night, 11/5, so that you’ll be on time for services Sun., 11/6.

The Veterans’ Day Celebration Service is 11/6 at 6 pm-Christian Life Center…Refreshments afterwards in the Fellowship Hall.

Bridge Builders will be collecting gloves, socks, toboggans, flannel shirts (size L and XL,) for Christmas gifts for our homeless friends. We will be collecting these items during the month of November. Thank you for your help with this project…also, please join us as we feed the homeless downtown on Thurs., 11/10. We’ll prepare the food at 3:30 & leave the Church at 5:15 pm.

WE NEED YOUR HELP with Operation Christmas Child. The youth and children ministries are collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. Our goal this year is to send 100 boxes. On Wed., 11/9 we will have a Packing Party after Soul Café at 6:15 pm in the CLC. Please go online to https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/ for a list of suggested items; please also note the What NOT to pack. Collection bins will be located by John Wesley and on the 1st floor of the Children’s Building. We will also take donations to help with shipping the boxes–please note “Operation Christmas Child” on the memo line of your check.

Please Note: The “Deeper Connections” Bible Study with Dr. Bill Etheridge meeting in the Pioneer Classroom on Wednesdays will change their meeting time to 6:00 pm.

UMW Circle 6 will be hosting a FOOD DRIVE for T.E.A.M during the Wednesday Night Dinner on 11/16.

Calling all Mothers & Sons! We’re hosting a Drive-In Movie and Cardboard Car Show in the Christian Life Center for moms and sons, grandsons, and special ones (boys preschool thru 5th gr.) Sun., 11/13 from 3-5 p.m.

“Loafing for Service-Learning” – Birmingham-Southern College students will join our services on 11/20 for their annual “Loafing for Service-Learning”, which is used to support Birmingham-Southern College students’ community service work – locally, nationally and internationally.

Two burial plots with bronze markers at Jefferson Memorial have been graciously donated to the Church. If anyone is interested in purchasing these please contact Mollie Lyle in the Church office (655-3259) for details.

Community Wide Prayer Day for our nation on Mon.,11/7. The Church Sanctuary will be open from 7 am – 6 pm. Everyone is invited.
